I feel like Joost is lacking something.

Maybe it's a critical mass of participating community (the channel chats are
usually pretty empty), maybe it's more of the sort of content I'd watch,
maybe it's more varied types of interaction with the content. I'd like to be
able to research/buy/demo the things I'm watching instantly, without leaving
the Joost client, post clips I'm watching to my blog (admittedly, there are
copyright issues with that one).

Right now it isn't much different than sitting in front of my TV with a
laptop for web communications at the same time.

Looks great, though, I do have to give them that.
