Okay so maybe we need to do the Hellmann's/Good Foods kind of thing. If somebody (anybody?!?) can organize a VC07 event in NY/Boston/WDC or Ohio between now and June/July they should make with the plans and call for help ASAP to make it happen. This would take care of the east of the Mississippi folks and those that want to travel.
If it gets done, fine. I'm there. If not, the those of use west of the Mississippi and interested others can plan to meet up at BarCamp USA in August. That is a certainty. It is going to happen. Here is another option. There was a bonanza of BBQ's Vlogger Meet-ups last year and the year before. Instead of calling it VloggerCon why not have a 48 hour Vlogger BBQ feast with conversations, non-panel panels and sleepovers. Structured/Unstructured it is up to you folks but it would take the heat off having to find sponsors, financial obligations and the 1001 details most of you are not thinking about. Wanting VC07 is not enough - it is clear that folks want this. Actual commitments need to be made set into motion. Seems like folks are searching for the Little Red Hen. Gena
