And you did it in fewer words than I've ever been able to.

For the record, there's a place for both kinds of media in this world.
 But you won't find me staring at a screen consuming messages I don't
agree with when there's not a good, solid way of voicing my
disagreement.  That's the power of social media, and arguably,
democracy, where dissenting voices can at least have a place to
express themselves, whether anyone listens or not.
