Actually I think the premise of your question is slightly off. Blip doesn't "use" the Democracy Player, you use the Democracy Player to get Blip.tv content. You can also use other aggregators like FireAnt and iTunes to get Blip.tv content. If you subscribe to a Blip feed directly in iTunes and configure ipod to automatically sync podcasts then your Blip.tv content will make it to your ipod as podcasts. I should also point out that this only works when the original content is in an ipod compatible format. Blip.tv doesn't require all their users to submit or publish iPod compatible files so not everything from blip will necessarily work on your ipod.
