Thanks for the link, Mark.  That piece pretty well documents how
"reality" shows are made.  You select a storyline, then you select the
video clips and sound bites to support what you're trying to say or
make the participants look like.

Every time they had those reunion shows for "The Real World" or
whatever, someone was asked about some situation and replied "it
wasn't really like that... they edited a lot out".

Makes for lovely entertainment, but not much "reality". :)
