I guess that could be it. But I thought low-complexity only applied to 640x480 stuff, and therfore these 320x240 files are baseline, not baseline low-complexity. But thats just an assumption.
The bitrate thing could be the cause I suppose, I suppose in addition to making sure they have updated their ipods, they should also make sure they are using the latest itunes?
