I've seen people at my job video edit on PC's but the machines were built by HP for that purpose. They run Pinnacle Liquid. I don't think the machines run light either. I tried editing on PC's back in 2000 but I had a funny analog to USB 1 set-up that made tiny movies and unsynced sound. I sold one of the PC's and gave the other one away. I went to Macs in 2003 and I still use the same tools today: iMovie 4, OS X Panther, and firewire DV camera. I'm not technically savvy so Macs save me time. franciscodaum.blogspot.com
