There is a long-standing tradition among vloggers to meet up Tuesdays and Saturdays via the FlashMeeting video conferencing service. Right now no one is booking the meetings routinely, but you could.
There is a FlashMeeting server that is open for use by anyone. It is at at the Open University's OpenLearn LabSpace: http://labspace.open.ac.uk/ where you can register (upper right of the page) and then learn about and use FlashMeeting (lower left of the page). There are tutorials and instructions on using the FlashMeeting system.
