[videoblogging] ADDING WIDGETS

I am using, or trying to use Wordpress. In Dashboard, under 
Presentation, I have a submenu call "sidebar widgets". Could someone 
be so kind as to tell me how I can add new widgets to the "Available 
Widgets" portion?? Thanks so much for any help. walt
