Heath, there are a few changes at Feedburner at the moment, and it seems they've changed something BAD. So I will write to them and so should you. We should make some noise - maybe they haven't checked the effect of their changes on videobloggers.
Looking at my feed, I saw that my latest post in the feed looks different from the rest. They're prioritising the FLV files above the others. Even though my mp4 with rel=enclosure is listed first by the Blip cross-posted entry. In iTunes, it still downloads the MP4, which is great. In FireAnt, it now plays the Flash file, which is not so great. And in Google Reader, instead of a clickable thumbnail with link to the mp4 file there's a no thumbnail and just link at the bottom which says "Original Video Source", which is linked to the Flash file - which obviously won't just play when clicked and so is useless. This might be because the first thing Feedburner's reading is the Blip player - and the Blip player that's usually crossposted links to the MP4 file - whereas Blip's player now links to the flv files. But then you use vPIP, don't you, not the Blip crossposting - so it must be something screwy at Feedburner. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Not good. Any other ideas on what could be causing this? I put some text as the 1st line of my video-blog entry: this is my description <my .mp4 embedded video> Click for video & it picks it up. Unfortunately, it also picks up the other text "Click for video", thus making the iTunes description look messy. > > > > > Yahoo!
