I have the Xacti C5
Here's me talking about the design of it:

Here's some stuff shot in daylight and indoors:

Here's one shot on Jay's HD1:

Indoors daytime:

Outdoors sunny:

Various conditions:

My overall thoughts - you probably wont get any better in a tiny mpeg4
camera. They're small (the HD version is about 2x the size of the C4, C5, C6
or the new h264 versions) and go with you anywhere. I've made many videos
with them that I would not have otherwise because I wouldn't have bothered
to bring a bigger camera along. The C5 (my camera) is the worst of the bunch
in low light. It's unusable in someplace like a bar at night. Most of the
sound issues can be solved by not zooming while you shoot and by learning
how to manual focus with it. The HD cameras have a very annoying tendency to
clip a normal speaking voice if it's too close to the mic, ie, your own
voice.
