around the 9/7/07 Ron Watson mentioned about Re: [videoblogging] FLV Encoding... that: >Oh well, at least I can view my FLV files offline now.
I have "Movie to Wildform Flash Video - FLV" and Movie to Wildform FlashVideo - SWF" under the file export menu in QT. Have latest OS X, latest QT pro, have perian and Flip4Mac installed. But just tried to export to these settings and turns out I get a Flix Exporter error (not licensed to run under existing application). My university has currently broken the internet so I can't actually check just what Flix is, or was, but apparently I have or something called Flix can export to FLV, which I suspect is an old copy of Cleaner (expensive, used to be the ants pants for exporting to all formats, haven't used it for a few years as just got very fussy and clunky). So, I woz rong, perian will let youi view the flv's.... -- cheers Adrian Miles this email is bloggable [ ] ask first [ ] private [x] vogmae.net.au [official compliance stuff:] CRICOS provider code: 00122A
