Or is >this a wrinkle with the logic board acting hinky? I second the suggestion to try Carbon Copy Cloner (freeware). It works well for PPC -> PPC install BU's and Intel->Intel install BU's. You do have to carefully follow the steps and preparations they suggest. You could make a bootable copy of your entire install onto something like a $50 SmartDisk FireLite Mobile Hard Drive (but not to go from PPC->Intel). Rob D.
