yeah "preserve aspect ratio" is a scam!! 365x205 is great for ipod and should work fine without that checked. if you want a larger format separate from ipod try 480x270 but be warned it won't play on the ipod (damn you apple!) though the larger 16:9 version 640x480 will play just nothing in between that and 365x205, oddly enough.
