Gave you that advice Patrick based on right-clicking files in my collections. They were all .wmv files. The right-clicked 'properties' revealed their location and extension.
I think I may have reset the default storage location, but my WMM raw footage files all reside in 'My Documents' --> 'My Videos'. Perhaps try capturing a wee bit of new footage and try the right click --> properties exercise to see where your default location is. I use Google Desktop to search for files on my XP box. Double click 'Ctrl' and a search window opens and voila.
