I never was able to make much sense of all of steve's sites/pages but i did
remember this post so figured i would relay it to you.

prior to jan. 1 2004, there already did exist the vog manifesto and some
experimental videoblogs in 2002/2003.  the first time i embedded quicktime
videos into blog posts was early 2003.  the first time i added real video
(realplayer) on a web page was 1999... thumb-sized and pixelated. what a
joy!
