Yeah, that's a concern of mine as well.  Plus there's the possibility
I may not get a private room too.  Hence my post here asking for
opinions and such.

I won't have any of my equipment when I go in for my pre-op
appointment as there's no need for it then, but if I decide to do
this, I *will* have it with me when I check-in for the surgery itself
though.
