We ran homemade prerolls for a few months last year and uploaded to 10 or 12 different sites/services (ex. http://youtube.com/watch?v=mRABQOh5z1Q ). Nobody seemed to mind. And although we made a bit of money from them, we decided they weren't worth the aesthetic bad taste it left in our mouths.
