ART & DEMOCRACY Last March, during Videoformes 2008 Video art Festival in Clermont- Ferrand (France), Franco-Colombian artist Triny Prada was brutally and senselessly arrested. She was put in jail, her professional-grade Sony camera was broken by one of the policemen who arrested her. On Tuesday, October 16 at 2:30 PM, Triny Prada will stand trial for "public drunkenness", despite the fact that many can testify she was neither drunk nor making any trouble. Please come and support her at the trial or do so online http://trinyprada.wordpress.com/.
