I only have the older HD-1010, but the 2000 is almost identical I believe. It has selectable 60fps HD modes (1920 and 1280) so should be quite suitable for action type shots I would imagine. BTW, the high speed 600fps mode (300fps on HD1010) does not record audio and is very low quality, and 10 seconds maximum. Don't know for sure about Apple compatible, but I am led to believe it is compatible. Dave.
