We have two current films on the subject:

My Toxic Baby (Canada, 2009), which records filmmaker Min Sook Lee's
quest for safe, sane and affordable ways to raise her child in a world
embedded with toxic threats and still lead a normal life.

Toxic Trespass (Canada, 2007), which deals with the high incidence of
childhood respiratory illnesses, leukemia, and brain tumors in the
southern Ontario cities of Windsor and Sarnia, aka Ontario's "Chemical
Valley."

My favorite is "Garbage Warrior" ~ I think the filmmaker distributes
this
himself.

My company offers: "The Real Dirt on Farmer John" (one of only 12 films
to
be invited to last year's Eberfest)and "One Man & "One Cow, One
Planet"~How to Save the World.

What these three films share are positive, working solutions to
environmentally bad situations.

Enthusiastically,

Loretta Callahan

****************************************

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
