Make sure this is the edition of CALIGARI you order:

http://www.kino.com/video/item.php?film_id=42

http://www.amazon.com/Cabinet-Dr-Caligari-Restored-Authorized/dp/B00006JMQG

Can I also humbly suggest that you look at some of the other wonderful releases
of German Expressionist films that Kino has put out recently? Here's their full
list of films from Germany:

http://www.kino.com/video/results.php?search_type=Country&search=Germany&country_id=7

In almost all cases these represent HUGE upgrades from versions available
previously on VHS. Many of them are based on the most recent restorations from
the Murnau-Stiftung in Germany.

The one I'm really excited about is the longer version of METROPOLIS getting
released in theaters and later on DVD/Blu-ray this fall.

Cheers,
James
