We too have a media studio--green screen and three HD studio cameras with a computer Tricaster recording/editing system. We have 2 edit bays in the studio area --available when our technician is in the studio and 1 system in the Media Center itself--available when the library is open. We have limited cameras to loan. We use Vegas Video. There are some i-Macs in the library with i-movie on them.
We're in the midst of the construction of a Learning Commons, so I'm not sure what's going to happen. Our studio and editing stations are very popular. Pat McGee Coordinator of Media Services Volpe Library and Media Center Tennessee Technological University Campus Box 5066 Cookeville, TN 38505 931-372-3544 VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
