**Pardon cross-postings** I'm surprised I haven't seen any postings on this yet. I am happy to share the news that construction on the Museum of Broadcast Communications is finally back underway! I have seen designs and layouts for planned exhibits and taken tours of the space, and this place is going to be stellar. The location is great and the collection really deserves the beautiful space they are building. I highly recommend visiting once it is finally open. Their collection is astonishing. They have Bozo's buckets!

The new MBC will include expanded areas for collection development, two exhibit galleries and working radio and television studios. Over 240,000 visitors from across the country are projected for the first year of operation. The new MBC will also be a model of energy-efficiency, built to a Gold LEED environmental standard-the first such Museum in Illinois. The "green" building is designed and will be equipped to maximize energy efficiency, to minimize waste and pollution, to reduce the consumption of resources, and to enhance indoor environmental quality. The United States Green Building Council will review and commission the building upon completion.
