No, it is not the problem. I have sent two posts now just to Videolib and both appeared on both lists. I noticed a time delay, with the first one appearing in my inbox with the subject line "[Videolib] Seeing Double" and the second appearing moments later with the following: "[Videonews] [Videolib] Seeing Double". Hoping maybe this detail could help 'diagnose' the problem, which seems to be happening for different people and started at different times on different days for those affected. In the meanwhile I will be getting closely acquainted with my delete key.

Cheers,

I am sending this to the actual videolib listserv posting address, instead of responding to an email posting, which may be the problem.

I have subscribed to both listservs for several years and never received duplicate postings.

Let's see if anyone receives two copies of this email.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
