Though I'm sure the professor is looking for feature films or narrative films, and not documentaries....
I love the series "Walks with an Architect" in which an architect fully familiar with the city leads the viewer through a tour of the city. Venice is one of the cities visited. Here's a summary from our catalog record: A city outside of time, whose unreality is woven from the marriage of earth, water and light. Architect Henri Gaudin discusses Venice -- its architecture, its layout, its unique features. This series is distributed by two companies: some titles (Including Venice) by Cine Fete in Montreal; the others by Landmark Films -- deg farrelly, Full Librarian Mail Code 1006 Arizona State University P.O. VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
