Good Morning,

I am trying to find a math video to replace a vhs tape which was
withdrawn from our collection. The tape was from Spokane Educational
Video from the series Spokane's Mathematics Inservice on Demand (date
around 1986.) The particular title needed by the faculty member is
Finite Differences. The description says " Demonstrates how to identify
the mathematical function when given a specific data set" As far as I
can tell the company no longer exists. Does anyone know of a good
alternative, on dvd preferably, that might replace the vhs tape? I have
found some videos online but at this point I'm hoping to find a physical
copy as requested by the faculty member. Thanks in advance for any
suggestions.

Jean

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
