Unless I am mistaken, ALL of the DVDs from Warner Archive are DVD-R. The quality seems excellent but it is correct that they do not play in all players - and may not work in all computers. The problem is that one cannot obtain these titles elsewhere, and many of them are really significant.

Truthfully, I am not an expert about this, so I am relying on the experts on this list. Thanks so much for your help. Lisa Flanzraich Media and Reference Librarian Benjamin S. VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
