We carry a 28 minute conversation between Hannah Arendt and Rolf Hochhuth about his play "The Deputy", videotaped at the time in the 1960s when that play was running in New York City and causing great controversy (Pius' indifference to and possible collusion with Nazi persecution of Jews in Italy, in the interests of preserving Vatican standing with the occupiers.) HA is understandably sympathetic to Hochhuth's point of view.
