When we were closed stack, we kept the originals in their original
packaging and made display cases with black and white reproductions of
the packaging.
When checked out, the display case would be placed in the shelf space of
the title in the closed stack section. The when the DVD was returned it
was easy to return the display case to the public shelving.
Good luck.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
