Please excuse cross-postings...

Hi Everyone,

We are still looking for a few lucky volunteers to help promote VRT and video
librarianship by staffing the VRT booth at ALA Annual. We're hoping for two
volunteers for every one hour slot, Saturday and Sunday 9 - 5.

The most needed times are:
Saturday 9 - 10
Sunday 9 - 10
Sunday 10 - 11 (conflicts with VRT program, of course)
Sunday 3 - 4
Sunday 4 - 5

Pretty much every other time only has one person, though, so if another time
works better with your conference schedule, it would still be very helpful.

If you are attending and can help us out, please let me know what days/times
you want and I will add you to the schedule. You can view the current schedule
on the VRT wiki at: http://vrt.ala.org/wiki/index.php?title=VRT_Booth_Schedule.

Thanks,

Sarah Beasley,

Chair, VRT Membership Committee

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
