I have a church group who has rented our campus movie theater. They just let
me know that they want show brief movie clips to illustrate their points of
their sermon. I am a bit overworked at the moment, so I'm having trouble with
recall and I almost never deal with churches. Does copyright prevent them from
doing this or does this count as a very odd educational use?

I really feel like I would know the answer on a normal day. I'm fried.
Thanks,
Sandra

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
