Hi, Tammy. We have open stacks, and we use Kwik-Case security cases. It helps.

If you have them, how do you go about securing the actual discs? Do any of you actually have open recordings stacks and do not target the discs? If so, what has the theft rate been? Please feel to respond to me off list. I can summarize for the list if others would like me to do so. Many thanks in advance for your replies. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
