Hi Videolib Colleagues,

This is just a final reminder that the VRT "Notable Videos for Adults"
committee is seeking nominations for non-fiction/documentary films produced in
2010 or 2011 and nominated by someone unaffiliated with the film
http://www.ala.org/ala/mgrps/rts/vrt/notablevideos/index.cfm . At this point,
we have 58 nominations, and in order to ensure that everyone on the Notables
committee can watch the films (we mail them to each other), I ask that you send
me your nominations by November 1st. Even if the video isn't released until
after November, please send me your nominations. (Sometimes documentarians or
distributors are happy to send their videos out early.)

Use this link to submit your nomination
http://www.tacoma.washington.edu/library/media/vrt/notable.cfm (or if it's a
huge pain, just email me).

Thanks to all who have nominated films, and big thanks to the amazing
distributors that I've worked with so far.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
