I have been working with a number of independent distributors & filmmakers
who have terrific films, but no ability to set up their own streaming
systems. What they can do is sell lifetime rights. Films include an Emmy
winner, films shown in Cannes, Tribeca, Toronto etc and with rave reviews
from The New York Times to EMRO. From the earliest cinema (Melies) to
current issues like gerrymandering and genocide, these films cover wide
array of academic subjects. PPR rights are also included and all titles can
be sold for use Canada.

The Flicker Alley Collection contains over 20 titles ( many multi disc
boxed sets) produced in conjunction with some of the world's best archives
and archivists, including highly regarded box sets of Melies, Chaplin
(early years at Keystone), Soviet films of the 20s and many more. Check
all their films out here

GERRYMANDERING <http://www.gerrymanderingmovie.com/> is possibly the most
timely documentary out there as each day brings another story of the state
to state battle by both political parties to abuse the democratic process
and protect their own power. "Highly
Recommended<http://libweb.lib.buffalo.edu/emro/emroDetail.asp?Number=4887>"
by EMRO
Web site with details is here. http://www.gerrymanderingmovie.com/

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
