I've got a question about duplicating dvds of lectures that the college has recorded. We want to transfer them onto archival gold dvds for preservation and have a vendor quote at $25 per dvd for two copies. Does this seem like a reasonable price? We have 70 to do so having someone sit at their computer to burn them seems a waste of manpower. Any other options? Thanks much, Janice @cca.edu
VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
