Wow those VHS copies are insanely expensive at least on Amazon. If it
something you only need to use once for a short period maybe you could try
interlibrary loan. Basically this is equivalent of a rare out of print book.

FYI this title would be a cautionary tale for those administrators advising
folks to dump all VHS copies.
