Hi Sarah,
Video Librarian is always a good source of reviews for all sorts of DVDs. Don't
forget the old staples...Choice, Booklist and American Libraries.

Good luck

Subject: [Videolib] Selection Policy for TV on DVD- small to medium size public
libraries

Hello,

I am looking for selection policies for television series on DVD for small to
medium size public libraries.

I am sure there have been many discussions on this issue. I'm new to the list
and would be interested in any archives.

If any one would like to email me directly, I would be interested in selection
criteria, guidelines, and best practices.

Thank you,
Sarah

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
