No news has a special classification in terms  of copyright re breaking
news/live news. Documentaries are different.
He may want to collect all books etc but you can't post that without
expecting to be sued.  I have in fact seen some very illegal stuff on
internet archive. The Google case of course remains in litigation with in
fact two major lawsuits.
