In November 1992 PrimeTime Live aired a investigative piece on the Food Lion grocery store chain's food handling practices. Food Lion sued ABC and won. In 1997 PrimeTime re-aired portions of that original broadcast and discussed the case and journalistic ethics. I was able to get my hands on the 1997 re-broadcast from Vanderbilt, but my faculty member is very keen to have the original 1992 episode. Needless to say ABC News is not selling this episode. I would be very grateful for any assistance in obtaining a copy of this. Thanks, Erika * * * * * * Erika Peterson Director of Media Resources Carrier Library, James Madison University (540) 568-6770 http://www.lib.jmu.edu/media VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions.
