'Wonder Years' dvd availability is something I've been keeping an eye
out for over a decade. Unfortunately, it is one of those
mired-in-rights-entanglements casualties due to music licensing issues.
A few best-of volumes were issued on DVD and VHS eons ago stripped of
music, but aren't readily available. A year and a half ago, the series
appeared on Netflix in its entirety, with some music (including the
theme) replaced by soundalikes. I believe it is available on Amazon
Prime, too. Those are currently the only legal options for this series,
as far as I know.
Best,

When an obscure company you never heard of claims to have a TV show or
any kind of major film, it is a bootlegger pirate. Legal releases are
generally carried by the usual suspects like Amazon, Midwest tape etc,
some releases can be exclusive to a particular company but NOT some
place you never heard of in PA. I tried going to there site and I
could actually only find some links and the link to Wonder Years went to
TIMELESS VIDEO which was clearly a bootlegger. They have some fancy
boxing but they are kind of enough to explain their videos are region
free AND DVD-R and that is neon sign that they are illegal. Major
studio product is NEVER released on DVD-R or region free. Again rule
of thumb if you are looking for DVD popular TV show or studio film or
nearly any feature film made in the last 75 years and it is not on
Amazon, or available from Midwest Tape or other wholesalers it is
almost always illegal. There are a growing n number of films or TV
shows that are available to watch online and not released on DVD but
from legit places like Hulu and Netflix.

One of our faculty wants the library to purchase The Wonder

they may have been illegally copied. Has anyone else worked with
