All:

Our school is interested in putting on a public screening of this movie so I'm
researching how to get a copy of this DVD with PPR so we can show the film at
our upcoming event during the second week of April. The HBO site indicates
it's on back-order and I've contacted HBO customer service to inquire -
awaiting a response. No admission will be charged at our event.

In case I can't get a copy via HBO in time for when the screening is wanted,
what are my other options? It appears to be out of stock locally. One of our
faculty has a personal copy of the DVD but our Library doesn't have a copy.

Any suggestions/ideas are welcome.

Thanks,

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
