Um did "THINK" Really bad day. However the concept of an individual download Vs a physical copy does largely obliterate the "right of first sale" which allows material do circulate. There was a decision by a Federal Court just yesterday saying people can not sell MP3 Downloads even if they paid for them because they are not physical and because the original download is presumed to be on the original buyers server. Obviously if you track the rights holder down and they agree no problem but if you can only find a film as a download the "copy" you download could never otherwise circulate Lot of messy stuff with copyright.
