Hi all, We're thinking about going to ALA for the first time in years, and I was wondering who in the videolib community would be making an appearance. I know not a lot of film companies make the trip, so it would be great - whoever is attending - if you could let me know what you get out of it vis a vis video collections, what you look for, what you like, etc. Thanks! And hopefully we can meet some of you in person in June!

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
