I imagine they are pretty upset at losing such a large collection. It does kind of change the equation. From now on you should check with Criterion USA on all studio stuff as well as Swank. The Paramount collection is large but in the more information than you are likely to remember , all Paramount films made between 1928-1948 are owned by Universal and thus Swank ( actually a few exceptions like MIRACLE OF MORGAN'S CREEK and few others because of remake rights)
Criterion USA only took on Paramount on April 1.
