Ours are also noted in our catalog, but it wouldn’t take much to delete them.
Possible idea to attach them to the VHS tapes which are pretty much in storage,
and next on the chopping block!
Thanks, Chris!

Ours rarely get checked out but they're all noted in the catalog records so for
now we're keeping them. The ones that accompany VHS tapes get bundled with the
tapes when they go off to storage.

Hi everyone,
So I am all about spring cleaning these days….we have tons of guides and
supplements that are never used. What do you do with all of these items? Do
you keep them on the shelf or do you
Have any kind of policy stating that you will keep them for xxx amount of years
or what?
Seriously, these rarely get checked out –are they worth it?

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
