We have received a very good response to our Survey of Academic Library Streaming Video. Preliminary data is very interesting.
If you have not already completed the survey we invite you to do so. The more responses we receive the more meaningful the survey data will be. We believe this is due to how SurveyMonkey collects numbers in responses (commas not accepted). We have adjusted the survey to be more clear about how to enter numerical data. So if you attempted to complete the survey but stopped after entering your demographic data we encourage you to try again. Remember that survey responders can enter their names for a random drawing for free registration to the National Media Market or pre conference workshops at the Charleston Conference and the CCUMC Conference this Fall. VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition,bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries,educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
