Hi folks, As the professional inheritor of all things Gary Handman, I am actually the moderator, although I am quite pleased and honored to be confused with either Deg or Dennis any day.
Though the role of moderator comes with many rights, privileges and accolades, I am thus far unable to defy space and time, so take care before hitting that send button. When you do accidentally send something horrifyingly mortifying (such as the time I misspelled "Hurricane" twice in one email), take comfort in knowing you are not the first, and will certainly not be the last. Please do play nice out there though-- and always try to do right by international copyright law and take care to only send unsolicited ads to videonews. Any questions or concerns can always be addressed directly to me--or my inheritors-- at [email protected] Gisele Tanasse Media Resources Center 150 Moffitt Library #6000 University of California Berkeley, CA 94720-6000 510-642-8197 On Sun, Aug 18, 2013 at 4:00 PM, Jessica Rosner <[email protected]>wrote: > I thought Susan just meant to send to me as joke. VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
