There is one odd film that might cover both of those. I am too tired to look up the exact title but it is French film out about two years ago and the English translation would be something like the Trophy Wife. Catherine Denueve plays the wife of rich owner of factory. Her husband is pompous and is hated by the workers who go on strike and the company is failing. She ends up taking over and running the factory to a huge success.
Another which really is not what you wanted but I originally misread this as "chef" instead of "chief" so if you want one of those I recommend A CHINESE FEAST. an absolute favorite of mine that hardly anyone knows.
