Hi Richard: There are examples of catalog records in the RDA toolkit. I was able to get to the page with just a goodle search: http://www.rdatoolkit.org/sites/default/files/6jsc_rda_complete_examples_bibliographic_apr0913_rev.pdf Stanford also has a nice page of examples of video RDA cataloging: https://lib.stanford.edu/node/8543/#Sample_Records From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Cynthia Goode Sent: Saturday, September 14, 2013 11:52 PM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [Videolib] RDA and audiovisual cataloging Hello! I am working on a research paper concerning the changes being implemented by RDA and its impact on audiovisual cataloging (film, videotape, audiotape, dvd, etc.). Does anyone have any good resources of information they would like to share with me on the subject, such as articles, books, conference proceedings, or even personal stories of woe? I think it would be helpful to hear some current real world examples to help flesh out the reality of any issues that we may be facing. Thanks! VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
